The Scotts Valley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to host the Sixth Annual Scotts Valley Financial Planning Clinic in 2014 for our Community.  This FREE, Pro Bono event offers the public an opportunity to address specific financial questions and concerns with our local professional financial planners. These professionals are volunteering their time and expertise to meet one-on-one with our community members and provide you ideas on “A Keeping Of Your Green!”

This clinic provides our local community with financial information they may not have taken the time to ask about. Do you have questions regarding Debt Management, Cash Flow, when to take Social Security, funding your Retirement or  a College Fund?  Perhaps you are experiencing a special circumstance that has affected your finances, such as Job Loss, Job Change, Underwater Mortgage or have had a Change in Marital Status.  These are just a few of the areas that attendees can discuss with our professionals.  Attending this event may be the first opportunity you have had to meet face-to-face with a professional financial planner.  And it’s Free.

Future Seminars may include any of the following topics.  Let us know what you would like to have presented by visiting our site on Facebook

Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist many attendees throughout the event, but will speak to only one individual or family at a time. Sessions are limited to 30 minutes (unless there is nobody waiting to receive advice). In addition to meeting with volunteers, attendees will also be able to attend two Educational Seminars on popular financial topic presented by financial planners.

This event is a pro bono benefit to the public, and there is no selling, product marketing or soliciting allowed. In other words, there are no strings attached for the consumer. Volunteers are not permitted to distribute business cards or any other marketing materials at the event. Attendees who choose to follow up with any financial planners that they meet can do so through the volunteer contact information directory provided in the program handout they receive at the event.
