The Zayante Sandhills Conservation Bank (ZSCB) can provide landowners with off-site conservation to mitigate their projects’ impacts on the endangered Sandhills species and communities. Funds generated by the sale of conservation credits pay for management and monitoring, in perpetuity, of the Ben Lomond Sandhills Preserve-23 acres of habitat identified by biologists as critical for the conservation of the endangered species.
