Goodwill Central Coast continues Round-Up Program for 2023; Max’s Helping Paws charity for March 18-19

Proving that small change can indeed bring big changes within a community, Goodwill Central Coast continues its popular Round-Up Program for 2023.

The philanthropic program is a way for shoppers already saving money to round-up purchases to the nearest dollar and donate that amount to a specified charity. The first beneficiary will be Max’s Helping Paws Foundation, a Pacific Grove-based nonprofit providing financial rescue to local pets experiencing a health crisis.

Shoppers at GCC stores on the weekend of March 18-19 can round-up to the nearest dollar or donate a set amount, with other donation options displayed on the credit card terminal machine.

All proceeds go directly to the charity. It’s a double feel-good day for shoppers, whose purchases help Goodwill train unemployed or underemployed people for career opportunities.
