Santa Cruz guitarist, Joshua Cedar, along with acclaimed jazz musician friends, Jon Dryden (piano), Ken Okada (bass), and Jim Kassis (drums), will present music that has helped shape the sound of modern jazz guitar. From Pat Metheny’s lyrical blend of ECM-inspired jazz and Brazilian influences to John Scofield’s infectious mix of New Orleans funk, blues, and jazz fusion, the performance will span a rich spectrum of contemporary jazz styles and a few surprises, too!
