Model Railroad Showcase

The California Central Coast Model Railroad Club displays its On30 modular railroad at Roaring Camp Railroads April 13 and 14. These avid hobbyists will be exhibiting and operating their On30 modular railway in Bret Harte Hall, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm Saturday and 9:30 am to 2:30 pm Sunday. See large scale model railroad cars roll through realistic scenes set in central California prior to the 1940s. Railroading enthusiasts will recognize the logos of well-known railways operating in the United States from past years. For information on model trains, visit www.ccc-on30.org. Admission is free. Parking is $10 per vehicle.
Steam trains to Bear Mountain depart at 10:30 am,12, and 1:30 pm. Train fares are $39.95 adult; $24.95 children (ages 2-12 years). Beach trains depart from Roaring Camp at 10 am and 2 pm; northbound from Santa Cruz at 12:00 pm.Beach train fares are: $41.95 adults, $27.95 children (ages 2-12 years)
